The Rainbow Mandalas kit from Janod have been designed in partnership with French Publishing brand Hachette. The range is called 'Les Ateliers du Calme' which when translated, means a quiet or calm workshop, making them an ideal craft activity for ages 7 and up, to aid in developing fine motor skills, creativity and imagination.

Rainbow painting is an innovative creative technique which allows you to work several colours at the same time thanks to a wide brush and an adapted paint palette with 7 colours!

The brush allows you to take up 4 colours at the same time and the gradation effect is superb and easy to achieve! To make everything simpler, the designs of the 4 pictures are made using the included stencils and can be refined using the fine brush which is also in the box. Just follow the step-by-step instructions in the booklet to paint your masterpiece, which will take about 1 hour to complete.

The bright colours and rainbow effects invite creative play to encourage visual perception as well as shape and colour differentiation.
